Szekszárd Municipality faces many challenges as a county center. One of these difficulties is the water management.
The city located at the meeting point of a lowlands of Great Plain and Transdanubian hills, has several valleys and hills and struggle with the flash floods occure more and more often in the last couple of years. Our aim is to create a large-scale system includes the administrative boundaries of the city which is able to manage the large amounts of rainfall coming down in a very short time. That means is not only draining the rain water (which remains uselsess otherwise) but collect and using it for the purposes of the city (cooling urban areas, watering parks, etc).
