Financial sustainability, commercial financial products for citizens-clima.

City of Zagreb do have a long history in horticultural landscape application and design, also as central European city have similar architecture and landscape architecture as larger cities in the neighboring countries, was part of Austro-Hungarian empire. Some of relevant sites are park Maksimir, botanical garden, Lenci's horseshoe and Sljeme mountain with its nature park reserve. Zagreb have well developed and maintained parks, public green surfaces, green corridor in city center, block green courtyards from the first half of 20century, also do face urban sprawls as it grows. Our project, ActGREEN- activating green courtyards for carbon neutrality do aim on bloc courtyards but also on all privately owned courtyard, aiming in decarbonization activities provided by NbS solutions. During implementation main problems for us are stakeholder engagement, financial sustainability and maintenance challenges. Ownership (legal in start, nonlegal at refurbishment end) and maintenance, are main problems. We do need additional suggestion, experience and good practices. A financial sustainability strategy would be also welcomed. We can offer good implementation, citizens engagement examples and praxis, also implementation and reporting inputs, and do have a strong NbS team.
