Association of heterogenous Municipalities in Valencia looking for Transfer

The Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of the municipalities and provinces of the Valencian Community. Although we share strong ties with the regional government, rather than a regional authority our profile fits better the public body definition according to EU rules.

Our main objective is to strengthen local administration and improve the quality of public services through various activities and programs. The FVMP encompasses all three provincial governments (Castellon, Valencia and Alicante), 32 commonwealths, 542 heterogenous city councils, from large cities like Valencia or Alicante to small rural villages facing depopulation risks or 7 minor local entities.

The goal of our organisation is to pave the way towards the involvement of as many municipalities as possible in European projects, being our main focus smaller towns due to its lack of resources.

Nevertheless, we support all of them through the whole application process, sharing our 20 years of expertise within this area.
