UrbanInfraRevolution: technical solutions and challenges in the last 6 months
The third Journal of Urban Infra Revolutions describes and analyses the progress of the project in the last six months, from March 2019 to end of September 2019, with a focus on the development of the technical solutions and the difficulties related to the material, production process and products.

The innovative nature of the project and material developed pose the main challenge of compliance with the local, national and EU regulation, as well as the sustainability of technology planned. Kinga Korniejenko, UIA Expert for the Urban Infra Revolutions, presents her reflection on these as well as on the 7 UIA challenges, giving some inside on the future steps of the project and the plans that the city of Lappeenranta will have after the ending of the UIA funding supports.
