UIA Expert Daniel de Torres highlights in this video the steps taken to create the project’s coffee of the world.

In the first Zoom-In produced for the U-RLP project being implemented in the city of Utrecht we learn about the preparation of the coffee of the world, a collective meeting space in the Launch pad serving also as an incubator. The space was co-designed and shaped by the users, project partners and local partners. It has been a key part of generating acceptance of the centre by local residents. Watch how the proper conditions to make the most of diversity have been created.

The UIA will publish a collection of Zoom-In’s from its funded projects annually in a variety of formats including: articles, interviews, videos or infographics. Zoom-In’s are an in-depth look into a specific part of the project allowing us to deepen the knowledge generated by the project concerning the solutions designed and implemented. It provides further information on how to overcome the main challenges related to the experimentation of innovative projects in a real urban setting.
