RESILIO Journal: developing a network of innovative and smart rooftops in the city of Amsterdam
Published on
Through an analysis and contextualization of the 7 implementation challenges, UIA expert Leon Kapetas presents the RESILIO project, which aims to develop a network of innovative and smart rooftops in the city of Amsterdam. The Journal 1 shows how the project passed from the first phase of contractual arrangements to the second phase of scientific solution finalisation, procurement preparation, preparation of the cost-benefits analysis and communication. As some of the preliminary challenges seems to be now addressed, new ones are currently arising, and it is now expected that the focus will be given to the implementation of the blue-green roofs and the instauration of an integrated approach, with the particular aim to build a financial business case.
