BRIDGE Expert Journal: Get an update on what has been happening in the last 6 months
In his 6th journal of BRIDGE, UIA expert Eddy Adams looks into the lessons generated by the project – the ones that are left behind for other cities.

To name but a few, Eddy points out that that digital platforms are the best way to reach young people and that inspirations are to be drawn from other sectors. He also calls for investment in effective data systems relating to diversity in light of people from migrant backgrounds, showing the labour market disadvantages they face.
In Eddy’s words, and he keeps stressing this through his work, the transformative work within City Hall has been one of the keys to its success. The project has successfully established a cross-departmental innovation space, which provides a much greater chance of these cross-cutting lessons being applied in future. In doing so, it has had a significant impact on the working culture within the city government
The journal also touches on which of the 7 pre-identified challenges remain pertinent for the project and why, and how the project managed to tackle them. Read through to get Eddy’s final reflections on BRIDGE and his insights on the final evaluation of the project’s effectiveness.
