Innovative Action description

We will test and implement a local innovative heat source solution related to sport fields, a democratic multicommodity model in a locally led manner, involving several citizens initiatives.

This project is looking for

- Your city is working on energy transition, in particular through heat networks. Your city has the ambition to use local heat sources and is eager to learn how these can be technologically combined;

- Your city has sport fields which are located within the city;

- Your city values and strives for residents’ initiatives and participation in the process, to come to a locally-led transformation of the energy system. Your city wants to learn about a new organisational structure and how it works in real-life setting;

- Your city is eager to replicate the results of this project if proven succesful;

- The activities of your city to learn from the results are supported and largely covered by the EUI-grant.
