The Mission Platform, supporting the work of the 112 mission cities towards climate neutrality, is now extending part of its support to any European city aiming to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest. But as cities embark on the journey towards climate neutrality under varying conditions and at different stages, our experts need to assess cities’ needs in order to tailor our support. In this context, NetZeroCities has developed a survey to best assess cities’ support needs.

The Mission Platform, managed by the NetZeroCities consortium, offers customised advice and support to cities, enabling them to achieve their climate objectives. It enhances their capabilities through strategic innovation experiments, leveraging local ecosystems, and fostering connections with various levels of governance.

The support provided is specifically designed for cities throughout Europe dedicated to progressing on their path toward climate neutrality, irrespective of their current level of commitment. Whether your city is actively pursuing ambitious climate goals or is at the initial stages of exploration, the Mission Platform program offers invaluable access to information and support to propel your climate efforts forward.

Help the Mission Platform understand how to best support your journey toward climate neutrality.

As cities embark on the journey towards climate neutrality under varying conditions and at different stages, the Mission Platform experts need to assess your needs in order to tailor their support.

To do so, they have developed a needs-assessment survey that is currently open until 17 May. By sharing your insights, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development of the initiative, ensuring the support is tailored to meet the unique needs of each local communities.

Fill in the survey

Filling in the survey will take about 25 minutes. This survey isn't just another task on the to-do list – it's a chance for your cities to actively shape the direction of our support activities!

Additionally, keep in mind that the first opportunity to engage is already available through the Twinning Programme, with his second call for application launched earlier this week and open until 31 May. The Twinning Learning Programme is designed to support replication and learning, by matching Twin Cities to cities participating in the Pilot Cities Programme. Twin Cities will benefit from Pilot Cities experience in testing systemic approaches to decarbonising one or more emissions domains, including the deployment and/or scaling up of Research & Innovation solutions.
