Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP), with EU guidelines for cities, is a core element of the EU urban mobility policy and very useful tool for cities.
This action provides an overview of the state of play of SUMP implementation across the EU as well as a revised version of the SUMP guidelines, addressing recent developments in policy and technology. The Commission has actively encouraged cities to implement the concept of SUMP for several years in strenghtening the SUMP concept and providing good practices.
