WESH's civic participation platform Heerlens Heitje was awarded as a finalist among solutions from India, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and the USA. During the ceremony the IEEE Smart Cities Chair PhD. Georges Zissis, Professor at the University of Toulouse, handed over the certificate to WESH Project Manager Pieter Bonnema and UIA Digital Transition Expert Harald Wouters.
