In the second Passport for Work zoom-in, the implications of skills based matching are explored among employers. We visited employers in three different sectors of industry which are at the core of Passport for Work: construction, technology and health care. In the zoom-in, it is shown how employers in these sectors put skills based matching into practice by hiring new staff based on their skills rather than their background. This results in surprising matches, such as a former chef taking on the role of a segmental paver. Learn more about these examples in this zoom-in report!
The first Passport for Work zoom-in can be found here.
Please enable English subtitles in the Youtube video, the interviews with the employers are conducted in Dutch.
