In the fourth edition of OpenAgri Journal, the UIA Expert Miguel Sousa, presents the synergies and integration of the project into the broader Milan Circular city strategy, with a focus on how the city is exploring innovative approaches for implementing the circular economy agenda at an urban scale.

The new concept of open innovation “widespread hub”, the challenge of developing a monitoring and evaluation framework, and the description of the phase 3 of the acceleration plan are only some of the aspects addressed by this journal edition. In addition, some key takeaways coming from the Capitalization Event organized in Milan with four UIA projects and an outlook on the future sustainability are presented, leaving some promising perspectives for the future of project.
