Curing the Limbo Expert Journal: Get an update on what has been happening in the last 6 months
This Journal accompanies Curing the Limbo in its past half year of progress. By giving an account of the main activities and achievements of each project component, the third issue explores the challenges of strengthening synergies between the project elements, accompanying the refugees in a well-planned learning trajectory and adjusting the programme’s design based on feedback from partners and stakeholders.

The past period of the project was characterised by a full-speed implementation of all activities envisioned during the preparations and UIA expert Levente Polyak sheds light on all relevant aspects. Among others, Levente touches on issues of political changes and challenges after the latest local and national elections; the exclusion of recognised refugees from the established programmes that resulted in hundreds of refugee families suddenly losing their accommodation and looking for emergency solutions; and the increasing attention the project has been receiving by Greek media.
Finally, Levente takes a deep dive in how the project tackles with challenges on integrated cross-departmental work, on monitoring and evaluation, and of future financial sustainability. Read through to explore how!
