City strategy 

The Tallinn 2035 strategy envisions the city as a digital frontrunner in Northern Europe, boasting a smart and green economy alongside a superb living environment. This vision relies on strong connections within the region and beyond, fostering a knowledge-based society with innovative residents. This collaborative effort, involving research institutions, businesses, and citizens, allows testing new models for urban planning, construction, and mobility. Ultimately, Tallinn's urban spaces become hubs for collaboration and innovation.

Results and impacts 

  • Digital Twin pilot project: Completed, paving the way for a full digital twin platform.
  • 3D model exploration: Public can explore a 3D model of Tallinn on the website 3d.tallinn.ee.
  • Green twin project: Aims to improve digital mapping of Tallinn's green spaces.
  • Road condition monitoring: Mobile data collection underway to map the condition of all 1200 kilometers of Tallinn's streets.
