Explanations about Urban Practice Database ?

Text

What is the Urban Practices Database?
The Urban Practices Database of Portico is a repository of tested urban solutions tested on the ground by cities from all over the EU, gathered to inspire urban stakeholders looking for concrete ideas to address their urban challenges. Urban practices from all over the continent and from a variety of sources, classified through precise criteria and easily searchable tags, can be browsed here in a single place.

What is an urban practice?
Urban practices are concrete answers to issues affecting urban areas, implemented previously as part of local programmes.

They have been led by cities and can be either successful or experimental, but they are all worth getting inspiration from.

Where does the Database get its urban practices from?
The Urban Practices gathered here all come from EU-based initiatives which are active in identification or funding of promising urban practices. Some of these practices might have been identified through specific calls for proposals or funding programmes; if so, a clickable labelling icon with the logo of the source will appear at the top of the practice.
