Urban regeneration through the New European Bauhaus projects

Liepaja city has a lot of remarkable and unique buildings of industrial cultural heritage that must be preserved, restored or revitalised with the aim of transforming the urban area for the use of larger public and sustainable tourism.
We are looking for partners who could share their practical expertise and knowledge on how efficiently and successfully they have applied the core principles of sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion within the New European Bauhaus (NEB) projects for the preservation and restoration of industrial heritage buildings (what are the ways how to make such buildings more resilient against the climate change, etc.). We are interested to obtain new and practical experience from the peer city on what are the biggest benefits and challenges in realizing such a New European Bauhaus project or innovative and transferrable experiments under the European Urban Initiative Innovative Actions (EUI-IA) project calls from its initiation until the completion and how to successfully apply for the funding of such projects.
