The Joint URBACT and EUI Information Session held on 7th May in Malta brought together local authorities and stakeholders from across the Maltese Islands. The session offered a unique opportunity to discuss the latest good practices on urban sustainable development, share experiences, and deepen cooperation for sustainable urban development.

The session opened with a welcome address by the Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government, setting the stage for a series of informative presentations.The NUP-UCP provided an overview of the Call for City-to-City Exchange, followed by a first-hand account from the Rabat Local Council, highlighting their experience in such collaborative initiatives.An overview of both the URBACT & EUI programmes was delivered by the Head of Training in EU & International Affairs, who also showcased good practices in local governance and innovation.
