Portico Community rules
Welcome to the Portico Community!
Portico community brings together urban actors to share urban knowledge and practices, discuss, and learn from peers about sustainable urban development in EU. Portico provides a unique opportunity for all to be in direct contact with their peers and benefit from the flow of knowledge and ideas.
We want all Portico members to have a friendly and safe environment to express their ideas and receive advice from their peers. Therefore, all Portico members and their contributions must abide by the following Community Rules and Terms of Use.
By using Portico’s community features, including its direct messaging feature ("Contact this member"), the user understands that any message sent will be stored securely on Portico’s servers in accordance with our legitimate interests and applicable regulation, to maintain communication records and enforce moderation of any inappropriate communication sent between members.
The content of messages sent through the direct messaging feature are accessible only to authorized staff members at the European Urban Initiative.
Portico Community members may be sanctioned for sending any message pertaining to the categories listed below, and are requested to immediately report any message received which may fall under the following categories.
- Illegal content or messages promoting illegal behaviour.
- Abusive behaviour, such as harassment of any form, threats, interactions of a sexual nature, excessive foul language, hateful comments, or discrimination on any basis.
- Sharing of violent or sexual content.
- Spam or deceptive activity. You may not share spam or use the feature to engage in bulk, aggressive, or deceptive activity. You may not mislead others by operating fake accounts or attempting to impersonate another person, group, or entity.
- Any sort of commercial request of any form, including advertising your services as a representative of a commercial enterprise or as an independent contractor for any kind of service.
Any Portico Community member failing to respect those rules may see their account banned from the platform. In the case of illegal activity, competent authorities will be immediately notified.
The Portico team reserves the right to delete or suspend a member’s account upon first offense of these rules.
The Portico team will periodically revise these rules by updating this page. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made as they are legally binding.
Portico is a public and open platform; the information you post here is public information and may appear in search results. Therefore, you should not post personal details or information that you do not want to be publicly available.
